St. Patrick’s Day is quickly approaching and in Chicago we take this holiday very seriously. There are so many Irish people (including myself) who live in the Chicagoland area, so we go ALL out! We have a big parade, dye the Chicago River bright green, have parties with friends, drink green beer and Green River soda on bar crawls, eat cornbeef and cabbage (at least my family does), and more. The parade and river dyeing is always held on a Saturday close to St. Patrick’s Day and this year it’s actually going to fall on the 17th!
Everyone is going to be absolutely decked out in green that day, so I’ve compiled 24 Irish or St. Patrick’s themed pieces that will make your St. Paddy’s Day look pop and put you in the “no pinch zone!” I picked out an emerald, velvet top (which was under $12) and some fun statement earrings that I’ll be wearing for the day’s shenanigans since I’ll be spending my St. Patrick’s Day out and about with a few of my best buds. I can’t wait!
