Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope that you’re all enjoying your day and spending time with those you love most, while stuffing your stomachs with plenty of yummy food! I, for one, am so glad that we have a day focused on gratitude and giving thanks during the crazy busy holiday season! With all of the commercial holidays taking over earlier and earlier each year, it’s nice to have a reason to stop and focus on all that we already have. In our crazy world, we take so much for granted and Thanksgiving is always a great time to be reminded of all the gifts and blessings that surround us on a daily basis, some of which we have a tendency to overlook.

Here are a few of the many things that I am especially grateful for this year:

– my loving family who supports me in all I do

– to have jobs that I enjoy doing every day

– to have kind coworkers who are also incredible friends

– to have such wonderful blogger buds & photographer friends

– to have amazing friends in general (who put up with my sarcasm, blog life, goofiness, etc. on a daily basis)

– to live in an incredible, ever-changing, & ever-growing city like Chicago

– to have a warm place to sleep, healthy food to eat, & clean water to drink when so many people in our world cannot afford these basic needs

– to have such a supportive and loyal group of readers and followers who have helped to support this blog of mine since I started back in January of 2012 (Seriously, I couldn’t do what I do without you guys!)

– to be able to follow my dreams and do what I love each and every day
