Turtleneck & Tiles

March 7, 2017

Happy Tuesday! On a recent, rainy day one of my blogger buds and I ventured out for a shoot/work date. We headed to the Chicago Cultural Center to take advantage of the gorgeous interior architecture before making our way over to Soho House for drinks and some blogging time.

What I Wore

Banana Republic Turtleneck  –  Banana Republic Skirt  –  ITEM m6 Tights ℅  –  B.P. Booties (On Sale!)  –  Kendra Scott Necklace & Drusy Studs  –  Signet Ring  –  Timex Watch ℅

I absolutely love the Chicago Cultural Center! This was Ashlee‘s first visit, but my friend/roomie/photographer, Ola, and I also shot a style post here a few years ago. This place is incredible! As I mentioned, the interior architecture is amazing. There are intricately tiled floors, huge windows, the beautiful (and famous) Tiffany dome and more.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in Chicago! It’s stunning on any day, but honestly sunnier days will make you appreciate the details even moreso, so I suggest aiming for a sunny day to visit.

For this look, I threw on the first turtleneck I’ve owned in years (It’s seriously the comfiest thing ever AND it’s on sale right now!) and one of my statement jewelry staples, Kendra Scott’s Harlow Necklace.
