One of the many things that I love about Chicago is the number of murals you can see throughout various neighborhoods. I first saw this wall in Bucktown earlier this fall and I fell in LOVE with it.

I knew it would be the perfect spot to shoot this fun cold-shoulder, holiday look and I love how the bright red accents pop against the black and white wall! Around the holidays, you can’t go wrong with a red lip and this matte lip pencil from Nars in “Cruella” has become one of my new favorite reds.
Blanket scarves are one of my must-haves for surviving the frigid Chicago winter (which seems like it will come in full force any day now).
