It may only be April, but on Sunday and Monday it felt like summer here in Chicago! Yesterday, the temperatures went back to being a bit lower, but that little taste of summer this weekend was such a nice treat!

My mom and I popped by the beach on Sunday to walk around and enjoy the gorgeous weather. People were all over the place picnicking, playing frisbee, etc. Some brave souls were even dipping their toes in the freezing water of Lake Michigan! I’m not quite ready for that just yet.
My finals are next week and I can’t believe that my summer is almost here! Even more so, I can’t believe that I’m going to be a senior in college next year!!!
This year has absolutely flown by and I’m super excited for all that summer holds. Some fun trips, time with family and friends, time at the beach and so much more.
I can’t wait for summer to get here!
