Happy Friday, loves! I’m so excited for the weekend because I actually have both days off from my full time job! Granted, my “off” days end up turning into blogging days, so it’s been a bit since I’ve really had a day that’s free from work, but I love what I do, so I can’t complain! Regardless, I’m ready to enjoy some time outdoors before Chicago decides to get super chilly.

The weather we’ve had in the past week or so has been reminding me quite a bit of the weather we experienced during the time we were in Cape Cod earlier this summer: windy, cool, but not chilly, and not terribly humid. Denim shorts are one of my summer and transitional must-haves because they go so incredibly well with both t shirts and big chunky sweaters.
