It has been unseasonably chilly this summer in the Chicagoland area! I’m not missing the extreme heat or humidity, but I do miss having the option of making every day a beach day. That being said, I’ve really been enjoying going for leisurely walks since it’s been a bit cooler and breezier out, especially by the lake! My mom and I stopped by Northwestern’s campus recently on one of these walks and decided to snap some outfit of the day photos by one of the ivy covered buildings. If you can’t tell from my other recent posts, I’ve been pretty much living in my Jacks this summer. They just go with everything! {All outfit details are all linked at the bottom of this post.}

I absolutely love my Jacks (I have three pairs), but it concerns me how fast they wear out on the soles! As for the Millers, I've heard great things about them from friends who have them and I've considered getting some myself, but I don't have any personal experience with them! I like that Jacks aren't as logo focused, but I also think the Torys are great and her logo is actually pretty rather than being overdone or obnoxious! I think either would be a great choice, just see which is more comfortable for you and go from there!
