It’s been a bit chilly this week for summer in Chicago. Temperatures in the 60s have made it feel much more like spring! Similarly, we had a chillier and somewhat rainy day when I was in NYC and I put together one of my favorite chilly summer outfit combos that day, a comfy dress paired with a long cardigan.

I’m especially fond of long cardigans because they’re warmer in general, but also because they’re much more likely to have pockets! This look worked out perfectly for an afternoon walking around Central Park and would also work out wonderfully for any chillier spring or summer day.
