The pineapple is one of my favorite decor motifs and summertime fruits! Not only are they sweet and aesthetically pleasing, but they also wear a crown! Did you know that in the South they’re considered an expression of hospitality? I love coming across pictures on Pinterest of sprawling, Southern living rooms with pineapples subtly featured in the decor. A few years ago, I bought a white pineapple lamp from Target. It’s still one of my favorite, simple pieces of decor in my bedroom! (I’m sad to report that they no longer sell it in white, but click right HERE for the gold version.)
One of the “trends” that I see every summer is fruit motifs within both fashion and home decor. Pineapples have a tendency to make an appearance almost every year!
