Today we’re going to talk about one of my favorite fashion hybrids: SKORTS! (AKA skirts + shorts.) When I was little, I absolutely loved skorts. I always was SUCH a monkey on the playground and was constantly climbing up to the tops of swing sets, slides, etc… Flash forward to present day: now I love skorts for running errands and just generally being out and about. Not having to worry about flashing someone if the wind kicks up is a major plus. Especially for someone who loves wearing dresses and skirts on a regular basis!
I recently received the CUTEST skort as a gift from my friends at Fabletics, which is what ended up inspiring this post! I have the Irene skort in white in a size small. I’ve worn it so much already since receiving it a few weeks ago! It’s perfect for going on long walks in the Summertime Chi heat, but it also works great over swimsuits. I wore it a few weeks ago for the 4th when hanging with friends on a rooftop with a pool. I also love that it has multiple pockets, which is always a big seller for me.
Thanks to this skort and my “rediscovery” of love for them, I decided to pull together some great skorts for summertime. Below, I’ve rounded up a collection of skorts that are great for workouts, running errands, going out with friends and everything in between.
