Houndstooth Cardigan

February 3, 2017

TGIF! Who else is pumped that it’s finally Friday? I’m ready for a chill weekend filled with time spent with friends, working on homework and doing some shooting for the blog.

On weekends that I’m not working, I love throwing on big cardigans like this one (unfortunately it’s no longer available, but here’s another cozy one) and sitting down with a cup of coffee or tea to enjoy the morning light in my apartment. There’s something incredibly centering about being able to just sit and relax rather than rushing out the door like I do most mornings. It gives me a chance to center myself.

What I Wore

Houndstooth Cardigan (No longer available, similar style here.)  –  Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace, Earrings, Lisa Necklace, Ring, Bracelet  –  Timex Watch ℅  –  Long Sleeved Top  –  Hudson Jeans  –  Mulberry Bag  –  Nail Polish

Another thing that I love about big cardigans like this one, beyond the fact that they’re super cozy, is that they can easily be dressed up or down! You can wear them with just a t shirt, leggings and slippers around the house, but you can also throw them on with jeans, jewelry and some booties before heading out into public and you’ll look like you’re ready to take on the world (while still feeling like you’re wrapped in a comfy blanket.) How can you beat that?

Love this! Such a simple outfit, but definitely adorable. I’m also kind of partial to the houndstooth (Roll tide!)
