Lincoln Park Zoo

Last week my family and I went to Lincoln Park Zoo! The drive there was short but fun because I always love traveling on Lakeshore Drive. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the sun reflecting on the lake was such a pretty site to see while we were driving. Since we went to the zoo in the afternoon we saw a decent number of animals, but some of them had already decided they were done for the day and had already gone to sleep… whoops! Apparently the ideal time to go to the zoo is earlier in the morning, but oh well. We saw my favorite animal, sea otters, so it was perfectly fine with me that some of the others were sleeping. While we were there we did one of my favorite zoo activities from when I was little, we rode the endangered species carousel! After a fun afternoon at the zoo we had a fabulous dinner at a nearby restaurant and took a walk in the park while taking pictures of the skyline and Lake Michigan. 

I’ve probably said it quite a few times before, but I love my city!
