Yesterday morning we sadly said farewell to an absolutely amazing woman, icon, and inspiration. At the age of 81, Lilly Pulitzer Rosseau passed away in Palm Beach, Florida surrounded by family. With her expert eye for color and extremely successful business that “all started with a juice stand,” she left this world far more bright and colorful than she found it. She will be greatly missed.

Yesterday was one of the first days that it was warm enough for me to break out my summer Lilly skirts and dresses. I just happened to be wearing my favorite Lilly skort when I heard the unfortunate news.
