If you follow a handful bloggers on Instagram, then you’ve likely seen more than a few of the classic, casual mural shots with a girl (or guy) posed in front of a colorful or intricate wall in a fun outfit. LA bloggers love the pink wall from the Paul Smith store in West Hollywood and Chicago has ton of fun murals throughout the city, like this one!

Jennifer Lake from Style Charade put together a whole guide to various fun walls in Chicago and that’s where I learned about this wall at NEWCITY on Halsted in Lincoln Park!
My top for this outfit was advertised as a dress, but let’s be real here… That white lace thing is waaaay too short to be a dress! Instead, I chose to wear it like a tunic over jeans for a loose and flowy summer look.
