Remembering Kate Spade

June 6, 2018

Yesterday with heavy hearts we learned of the tragic loss of a fashion icon. Kate Spade was a designer who always encouraged and inspired us to live colorful lives. She taught me and so many others the power of positivity and that a little glitter never hurt anyone. Her brand fostered my love for putting bows on everything, the color pink, gold writing, and witty sayings.

Kate Spade taught us to be quick and curious and playful and strong…

… and that it’s totally acceptable to eat cake for breakfast.

I love the bright, bold and feminine styles that Kate Spade is known for. The quality and craftsmanship of their products is part of what makes Kate Spade one of my favorite brands!

Although Kate herself stepped away from the company almost a decade ago (to allow her to spend more time with her daughter) Kate’s bright personality lived on in the brand and its impeccable designs. She was a colorful and creative spirit and she will be missed.

Rest in peace Kate Spade.

You are so very loved and you are not alone.
