No I’m Not Lucky, I’m Blessed

Happy post-Thanksgiving everyone!

This last week has been somewhat busy for me, as usual, but even more so because I’ve been making up missed work from going on Kairos, finishing up the last of my college apps, prepping for Thanksgiving, and so on. Now that I’ve finally gotten to slow down for more than a few minutes, I’ve been able to think more about the massive number of things I’m grateful for! I am so thankful for my loving family, my absolutely fantastic friends, my comfortable life, and all of the wonderful opportunities I’m given each and every day. I am so blessed to have more than enough food to eat, to attend a school where I’m getting a full education, to live in a nice house, to have clean water, and to have the chance and right to pursue anything I want in life.

I’m also very grateful for all of you! Just this past week, the Bowtiful Life Facebook page reached over one hundred likes which was simply mind-blowing! I can’t thank you all enough for the fantastic support you’ve given me since starting this blog. Thank you for continuing to read Bowtiful Life as it has grown over the last few months into something that I’m truly proud of. And for those of you who’ve just recently found my blog, welcome!

My Thanksgiving was wonderful, I spent time with my family while enjoying lots of yummy food! My mom made her famous sweet potato casserole which is seriously the most amazing thing I’ve ever tasted. We also watched the parade on TV which was also a lot of fun.
