Last weekend I attended my friend’s Sweet Sixteen. The event was semi-formal and was held at a really nice golf club. I had a fabulous time and enjoyed eating, dancing, and talking with old friends as well as a few new friends. We even had our own “junior table.” They were serving catered Italian food as well as kiddy cocktails with maraschino cherries in them, yum!

I went dress shopping the week before the event and ended up finding a wonderful Lilly Pulitzer dress at Bloomingdales. I was very excited about wearing it for the first time because it’s my first Lilly Dress! I ended up choosing the Delia in the pattern “Call Me Kitty Cat.”

I have never seen myself as a Lilly girl because her designs are a bit too bright for my taste. However, I love the Somerset in Bright Navy Foxy. Cute but not too much.
But you look so grown up and youthful at the same time. Very sophisticated.
