So this week in US History we’ve been focusing on the Kennedy Administration as well as the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. I was really interested in all we discussed and learned because I’ve had an interest in the Kennedy legacy since a very young age.
Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis has always been a huge style icon of mine and for as long as I can remember I have loved looking at old pictures of her. Her style was so classic and polished with just a bit of glamorous movie star thrown in. She was the definition of understated elegance and always looked very classy and put-together.
The accessories and articles of clothing which are most often associated with Jackie O. are her infamous pillbox hats, gloves, pearl necklaces, suits, and large and round sunglasses.
I recently put together an outfit to wear at my little sister’s first communion and it ended up looking somewhat Jackie Kennedy inspired. I didn’t even realize at first that the J. Crew cardigan was named “The Jackie,” what a coincidence!
Cardigan: J. Crew. Pearls: Grandmother’s Dress: J. Crew Bag: Forever 21 Shoes: Nine West Headband: Nordstrom Bracelets: Forever 21 and Tiffany

Wow, Jackie Kennedy is definitely my all time style icon, too! Love your outfit; the J. Crew Jackie cardigans are perfection.
SO cute!! Jackie O is definitely one of mine, but I'm always so obsessed with Audrey! Your outfit is simply adorable.
My style icons are Jackie and Audrey Hepburn. I'm also Alan of Grace Kelly's style!

Thank you Grace!
