Happy May, loves! I hope you’re all doing well. It’s a new month, so that means that it’s time for me to share my May ’20 Playlist with all of you!
Favorites this month are definitely “Hold You Tonight” by Gryffin and Chris Lane, “ABBY” by Travis Denning and “Love You Like I Used To” by Russell Dickerson. “Hold You Tonight has been on constant replay since it first came out in early April. Every time that I hear it I just feel super happy and a little nostalgic. (In this time of social distancing I miss hugs!)
Fun fact: “ABBY” was actually served to me as an Instagram ad last month and it HIT. This is such a well done and well thought out song. Highly recommend!
“Love You Like I Used To” is just adorable! I love pretty much all of Russell Dickerson’s music and this song is a gem. Fun fact: I briefly met Russell and his wife Kailey while they were in Chicago earlier this year for a show! Randomly enough ran into them while I was at lunch downtown with my Aunt Mary. They are the SWEETEST people and were so friendly! This song is about the two of them and it’s just crazy cute.
