Hey lovelies, happy July! I hope that you all had a fantastic 4th. It’s a new month, so that means that it’s time to share my July ’19 Playlist with all of you!
This playlist has quite a few favorites on it this time around. If I had to choose just a few, these are the songs that I’m loving most right now.
“Higher Love” was on replay for me the day it came out! I think that this collab was so well done and honored Whitney’s style and original song. I’m also a Kygo fan, so I may have been slightly predisposed to liking it. However, I think that their styles were combined wonderfully in this remix.
“Whiskey Glasses” by Morgan Wallen feels like it’s been following me everywhere I go! I was already a big fan of the song from the first few times I’d heard it and then it was on the radio or playing out and about every time I turned around! If you’re a country fan, add this song to your playlist ASAP.
“Last to Know” by BROWN & GRAY and “Maybe I Do” by Nick Wayne are both “in my feels” songs for sure. I found both through my Discover Weekly playlist on Spotify and I’m a fan. In particular, I really like the vocal blending and style in “Last to Know.” This song reminds me of if Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett got together to write a moodier country duet for a female and male duo. So well done.
