2016 flew by in a blur and 2017 has sounded so far away, until recently!
This year was a bit crazy for me. I met some amazing people, had opportunities to partner with some super cool companies and brands, traveled outside of the USA for the first time in my life, started my last year of college, was the busiest I’ve ever been in my life, and so much more! I’m truly grateful for all of the experiences that 2016 has brought me and I can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store!
In honor of the coming new year, I picked out some of my favorite blog posts from 2016, one for each month, in an attempt to roughly recap the whirlwind that was 2016.
In January, Kendra Scott launched their gorgeous, art-inspired spring line.
In February, my friend Alex and I shot this post in one of my favorite parts of the Gold Coast, on Oak Street.
In March, I chopped off a bunch of my hair for a good cause.
In April, I turned 21 and co-hosted an event with Topshop!
In May, I kicked off my summer with this fun giveaway/style post with A-List Greek.
In June, I recapped my belated-birthday trip to NYC.
In July, I had the honor of speaking on the influencer panel at DAYGLEAM!
In August, I shared LOTS of photos from my trip to Europe. I created a photo diary for every major city we visited as well as sharing various outfits from the trip!
In September, Ola and I had one of our first shoots since she’d gotten back from studying abroad in Rome all year.
In October, I prepared to vote for the very first time in a presidential election.
In December, I spent some quality time with friends in my favorite city (Chicago, of course!)
