The Lettered Company recently reached out to me and informed me of a fundraiser they are currently holding for the families of the UCSB Tri Delta shooting victims and their families. As many of you may know, during the shooting in Isla Vista on May 23rd, two members of University of California – Santa Barbara’s Tri Delta chapter were killed and another was injured and hospitalized due to her injuries.
The Lettered Company is raising money to help the victims’ families with the financial burden of hospital and funeral costs. In honor of these three women, they are donating $4 from every piece of jewelry sold from their online store through June 7th, 2014. You also have the option to make an additional donation or a donation without a purchase.
It’s during times like these that I am especially grateful and proud to be a part of the Greek System. During troubling times we have the power to stick together and support one another. “No matter the letter we’re better together.” My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragedy.
This is such a great fundraiser they are doing. I'm glad to be hearing about it! I'm a Tri Delta at a different school myself and it breaks my heart that two of my sisters were killed.
