I absolutely love the color combination of the pink, black, and white, but I’m particularly in love with this outfit for a different reason. I already had each of these pieces in my wardrobe! I simply took them and combined them into a brand new outfit for a friend’s birthday party last weekend rather than going out to buy a whole new outfit for a single event.
I feel that so many of us (yes, me included) have the tendency to think, “I can’t wear that again! I just wore it for __(fill in the event)__.” It’s such a silly thing to think that for every event you attend you need to buy a whole new outfit that you may never wear again. I don’t think that you should ever hesitate to wear something more than once, just style it slightly differently and it can look brand new!
I think it really helps to have an easily mix and matchable wardrobe which is similar in color and esthetic. This “Prepeganda Protip”perfectly phrases what I’m trying to say:
