I can’t believe that Halloween is in just three days! Still need a costume? I’ve got you covered! Now, I DID plan this 101 Dalmatians costume ahead of time, but it’s super easy to throw together last minute.
The less “common” elements (the ears, tail and collar) can both be purchased through Amazon Prime. The best part? They cost me under $25 total!
I’ve done Disney costumes for the last 5, now 6, years! It actually all started by accident in college when I totally lost track of how close Halloween was… Whoops! (Read more about that here.) I’ve stuck with my “easy” Disney theme ever since! This year for my Perdita from 101 Dalmatians costume the only two things that I had to buy were the ear & tail set and the blue velvet choker. Everything else I already owned!
Collar
To complete my “collar” I temporarily sewed my Kendra Scott locket charm onto the velvet choker!
Outfit
For the outfit itself, I just wore a white bodysuit and black jeans that I already owned! You could easily swap out the bodysuit for a basic white tee too.
Ears & Tail
Purchased for under $10. Like I said, easy!
Makeup
The makeup was significantly easier to do than I expected! I did my usual face makeup and had some fun with the eyes. (I chose to skip drawing a nose because I’ve had a cold recently. So, didn’t feel like dealing with that!) I used Bare Minerals “Steam” loose powder shadow for the white base and Stila’s Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner for the spots. I drew all of the spots on by hand and it was actually pretty easy!
