This weekend I had the pleasure of partnering with one of my favorite brands, J.Crew, to host their Oakbrook store’s Icon Event! I had a blast styling, shopping and sharing J.Crew’s classic and iconic pieces with our guests and I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for the event! It was so nice to have so many friendly faces there and I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my afternoon any other way.
I know that plenty of you wanted to attend the event, but don’t live nearby or couldn’t make it for whatever reason. Never fear! Today, along with my recap I’m sharing some of my favorite, iconic pieces from J.Crew + a breakdown of my look from the event.
J.Crew was incredibly generous and outfitted me in some gorgeous pieces that I know I’ll have and wear for ages. I could tell that the outfit we put together was a hit because a bunch of people ended up purchasing my tank, a version of my sweater (there’s a shorter option too) and hair bow during the event!

When picking out my outfit prior to the event I liked so many different pieces that we came up with a few different looks before settling on the one that I wore! We had already planned that I’d be styling mannequins for the event, so they ended up wearing two of the outfits I originally put together for myself!

During the event, some of my sweet blogger buds stopped by! Through blogging in Chicago and attending various blog events I have met so many amazing people. Cait and Emma are two of my closest friends that I’ve met through Chicago’s blogosphere and it was SO nice to have both of them there!
While shopping, everyone got to sip on Pellegrino and snack on mini Sprinkles cupcakes!
A bunch of my awesome coworkers also came by to show their support!
So many wonderful people came to this event (both pictured & not) and I am so incredibly grateful that I got to spend the afternoon with all of them!
Not to get too cheesy or gushy, but I would not be where I am as a blogger or who I am as a person without the remarkable support system that I have. Between my family, friends, followers and more, I am beyond blessed and so incredibly lucky. Thank you for your constant support, I couldn’t do what I do without all of you!
