Last Thursday I flew to NYC to attend Teen Vogue Fashion University! We got in late Thursday night and checked into our hotel by The World Trade Center and I knocked out after a long day of traveling and our flight getting delayed.

Friday afternoon was spent shopping and sightseeing in Soho after grabbing brunch. That evening, I attended the kick-off event for Fashion U at the Express store in Times Square with my friend Mary. It was packed!!!

On Saturday I was up bright and early to check-in for Day 1 of Fashion U at the Condé Nast offices in the World Trade Center. The day was filled with amazing seminars from major influencers in the fashion industry as well as plenty of networking. This was honestly such an amazing day and I can’t express in words just how much fun I had!

On Sunday, we had our keynote speaker as well as our “graduation” from Fashion U. To finish off the trip, that evening, we went to The Plaza for tea and got a call while we were there that our flight home was canceled! We ended up checking into another hotel for that evening and then flew back to Chicago on Monday morning.
