Merry post-Christmas and happy almost New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your families and that Santa was good to you. I had a wonderful Christmas! It was so nice to spend plenty of quality time with my family and eat lots of delicious homemade food.
I was very lucky this year to receive some wonderful gifts. One of my favorite gifts came from Bloomingdales and I loved the idea behind it, so knew that I wanted to share it with all of you lovelies!
As many of you know, I love Alex and Ani bracelets. They go with pretty much anything and I wear mine almost every day. This year I got the little brown bear bangle for Christmas and I absolutely love it for two reasons. 1. The bear acts as a personal reference to a slightly over-told family story about a set of teddy bears I had as a child. 2. This bracelet is one of Alex and Ani’s “Charity by Design” bangles. For this bracelet, Alex and Ani paired up with Bloomingdale’s to support the Child Mind Institute which supports the mental health care of children and acts as a resource for their families. Bloomindale’s and Alex and Ani are donating 20% of each little brown bear bangle purchase to the Institute, with a minimum donation of $25,000!
