First Full Week of College

I’ve officially made it through my first full week of college, classes, and dining hall meals! I could probably call this post “My Week in Instagrams,” but regardless. Here’s just a little bit of what I’ve been up to in the past week…

Well first of all, I’m fully moved into my new home on campus and I’ve been here for a little over a week! Our car was absolutely stuffed on move-in day, but we “made it work.” I really love my room and my roommate is pretty awesome as well.

Dorm decorating is starting to slow down, but my roomie and I still have a few things to do before we consider it complete. I’m also sure that we’ll end up continually adding to it as the year goes on. At this point we’ve got a ton of white christmas lights hung up all around the room and we both have pretty cool looking decorations on our respective sides. I made this banner (shown above) with the monthly print pages from my old 2012-2013 Lilly Pulitzer agenda and I love how it turned out!

I went to the beach one last time this week with a few new friends because the beaches close for the season after Labor Day. I realized that I barely went to the beach this summer and that I want to make sure I take better advantage of it next year. 

Slightly more random, but I finally got a J.Crew-inspired rose necklace! I purchased mine from Groopdealz last week when they went on clearance. It was the first thing that I had shipped to my new mailing address on campus, so technically that is college related… right?
