#BowtifulTeenVogue Back-to-School Trunk Party Recap

This weekend, I hosted a Back to School Saturday (#BTSS) Trunk Party for Teen Vogue! It was so much fun having friends over to catch up and go through all of the fun items that Teen Vogue and my sponsors sent us! Each guest left the event with a hefty goody bag and prizes from the raffles that we did for the bigger items. There was everything from makeup to clothes to purses to jewelry and more! Everyone also got to take a copy of the September issue of Teen Vogue home with them!

This was one of my first times hosting an event as a blogger that wasn’t at a retail location, and oh my goodness I had such a blast! To be completely honest with you, I was super nervous about how it would go and making sure that everyone would have a good time. I put lots of time into planning how long the event would run, how it would be structured, how to decorate the space, etc. and I am so incredibly pleased with how it all turned out. We had so much fun!

We used this awesome tapestry from Urban Outfitters as a photo booth backdrop and I made fun little Teen Vogue and Bowtiful Life props for everyone to use while taking photos! I also found this adorable light up # on sale at Target which we also used as a fun photo prop.
I made a #BowtifulTeenVogue Spotify playlist for the event and threw together a slideshow of past Teen Vogue covers which played on on TV screen throughout the event. We also used the hashtag “#BowtifulTeenVogue” for any social media coverage of the event!
